State Digital Archives Court Records Access Information
In partnership with the Washington State Digital Archives (Digital Archives), the Clerk offers electronic access to select publicly available court records.
Domestic (2004 forward)
Unavailable electronic records include statutorily confidential, court ordered sealed, and otherwise restricted by state and/or local court rule; Domestic records before 2004; and Juvenile Offender.
Copies of documents filed in Snohomish County Superior Court cases may be obtained from the Clerk of the Superior Court through the Digital Archives.
Non-certified copies are available at $.25 per page, with a $1.00 Digital Archives service charge per document. Example: The cost of a two-page document would be $1.50.
Certified copies may be ordered through the Digital Archives and will include a $1.00 Digital Archives service charge, and a $5.00 Clerk mailing charge for every 50 pages, in addition to the Clerk’s certified copy fees, which are $5.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. Example: The cost of a five page certified document would be $15.00. After payment through the Digital Archives, certified copy orders will be forwarded to the Clerk for preparation and mailing.

Search Tips for the State Digital Archives
For best search results, it is recommended that you have your Superior Court case number prior to entering the Digital Archives web site. If you do not know your case number you can locate it at Washington Courts - Records Search.
On the "Search" screen use the drop down menu under the "Record Series" title and select “Superior Court Records” near the bottom of the list.
Next, select "Snohomish" under the "County" title and enter a case number in the “Case Number or Keywords” field, as indicated and select “Search”. You will see search results below the “Record Series” column title (bottom of screen) and will see the “Snohomish County Superior Court Case Files,
1950-2013" hyperlink. Single click on that link to display the case docket/index. Note: Confirm that you have selected the correct County and case and follow viewing and purchasing instructions on the web site.
“Keywords” search is also available; however, search parameters are limited to docket/index data (documents/images are not searchable). Results of “Keywords” searches may include several different cases with similar keywords, so it is important to confirm you are selecting the correct case.
To ensure you are receiving all of the documents associated with a case when using the “Keywords” search function, it is recommended you re-enter that case number in the “Case Number or Keywords” field, which will return only that case and associated documents.
