Documents Required to Obtain a Kennel License

To obtain a kennel license, you must submit the following information:

• A completed Snohomish County Kennel/Animal Buisness License Application  (PDF format)
• a completed pet application for each dog
• proof of spay/neuter and/or micro-chipping (if applicable)
• a drawing of kennel runs and/or animal housing in relation to owner’s home and property line(s) including street names and cross streets
• legal description of the property including property tax account number
• The correct fee
  

To obtain a commercial kennel license you must submit the same documentation listed above as well as:

• A Zoning Pre-Approval form signed by Planning and Development Services
• Liability insurance 
• Corporations must submit: Name, residence address and telephone number of each of its officers, directors and shareholders and the number of shares held by each if there are fewer than 10 shareholders.
