Current and future residents of Snohomish County deserve, expect and depend upon Parks and Recreation to:

• Provide attractive, safe, and well-maintained parks that offer a wide variety of recreational opportunities
• Provide for the needs of an ever-growing population through the timely and cost-effective acquisition and development of additional recreational properties that can respond to the evolving recreational needs of county residents
• Provide a safe, well-maintained and well-managed fairgrounds that offers quality year-round recreational opportunities, including the annual Evergreen State Fair
• Provide quality educational opportunities for agricultural and horticultural community, 4-H youth and families through cooperatively managed Washington State University Extension office
