Facilities Management: What We Do
Facilities Management’s principle responsibilities are:
- Maintain, remodel and repair County owned buildings and facilities
- Manage the planning and construction of new County facilities
- Manage secured access to County owned buildings and facilities
- Manage 24-hour security patrolling of County owned buildings and facilities
- Operate the County parking facility in downtown Everett
- Administer the process of selling and/or disposal of surplus County owned real and personal properties
- Negotiate license and use agreements of County owned space, and the rental of office spaces for County use
- Manage the County process of purchasing goods and services through competitive bidding as required by law
