Planning Advisory Committee (PAC)

The Planning Advisory Committee is a standing committee of Snohomish County Tomorrow. Its membership is comprised of one staff member from each of the participating jurisdictions – the cities, the county and the Tulalip Tribes.
 
The mission of the Planning Advisory Committee of Snohomish County Tomorrow is to: 

• Provide technical support and policy recommendations to the Steering Committee based on sound planning principles and practices. 
• Serve as a technical forum for analyzing and helping solve challenges regarding implementation of GMA and other issues affecting the ability to implement GMA.  
• Serve as a medium for information exchange between Snohomish County and the cities and between cities. 
• Provide a network of planning professionals on which each member can rely for assistance and guidance so as to help us be better at our jobs. 
• Provide technical comments and review to state and other agencies on pending legislation and rules.
• Foster the public’s and elected officials' trust and respect of the planning profession through integrity and education.
  

The PAC meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Snohomish County Administration Building-East from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
