Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is a standing committee comprised of the Steering Committee Officers, one Citizen Representative of the Steering Committee, the chairpersons of the other standing committees created by the Steering Committee, and the County Executive.

The Executive Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Snohomish County Administration Building. The Committee has a variety of administrative duties that include the following:

• Planning of meeting agendas;
• Prioritizing of issues to be considered by the Steering Committee;
• Oversight of budget and work program drafts for presentation to the Steering Committee;
• Authorization of payment expenditures consistent with budgets approved by the Steering Committee;
• Coordination of Steering Committee schedules and work progress; and,
• Employment of staff or consultants to assist in the completion of the approved work program
