Wine and Cheese Tasting
A wine-and-cheese tasting ended the day, thanks to the generous participation of Puget Sound wineries, artisan cheese makers, growers and processors. Due to the snow and ice that blanketed Whatcom County, cheesemakers Samish Bay and Silver Springs Creamery were unable to attend as planned, but we were fortunate to have representatives from all five wineries join us with their finely crafted libations. Talented Celtic musicians Christian Hoffman and Christine Traxler contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. A special thanks to Beecher's Handmade Cheese, Partner's Crackers and Islands Bakery for their delicious products. View details about participants.
