Electronic Applications:

• Apply to establish a Basic Online and then pull permits from it right away.  You will still need to bring in your structural plans for review by appointment.

Stop filling out a paper application for your Access Permit!

If you are using our Basics Online, you can get an access permit issued concurrently with the Residential Building Permit.  Building contractors applying for residential permits using an established Basic Plan where no site review is required, do not need to complete a separate access permit application.  Fees remain the same and you do not need to call for a separate inspection.  Your residential building inspector will be responsible to give final approval of your access.

Help us by spreading the word to those in your office who call us for driveway inspections.  When you call the PDS inspections line just select “residential permit” and leave your permit number.  You do not need to call for a separate driveway inspection.
